Vicky and James held their wedding ceremony at the Memorial Methodist Church in Epworth, North Lincolnshire, where Vicky's parents were also married in the 1970's. We had some vintage photos from her mum and dads' wedding to try to recreate a similar feel in the present day but unfortunately - or perhaps fortunately depending on which way you look at it - we weren't able to recreate the 70's fashion! Bride and groom then jumped into their Rolls Royce and the bridesmaids into their VW Camper to travel to the reception at Cave Castle Hotel, South Cave back in the East Riding. Conditions were cool and breezy just after Christmas last year and at one point the wind did threaten to whip away Vicky's veil, but we had some sun too. Celebrations went on late into the night with entertainment provided by Yorkshire funk band BluePhunk.
