It certainly is strange to find yourself in an acre and a half of themed gardens on the sixth floor and one hundred feet above Kensington High Street in central London. The Roof Gardens are nowadays a part of Richard Branson's portfolio of unique retreats and they certainly are unique. There are three themed gardens, Spanish, Tudor and English Woodland, with over 70 full size trees, a flowing stream stocked with fish and resident flamingos Bill, Ben, Splosh and Pecks! The gardens made a terrific setting for Ollie's Bar Mitzvah and provide another exciting London venue for photography too.
