Having made her recital debut at the age of nine, Juliet is now one of this country's finest concert pianists. Possessing an extraordinarily wide repertoire she is much in demand and asked to perform in many countries around the world. Juliet went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music, London after having achieved her first class degree in music at Christ Church College, Oxford. The dramatic setting of the Cathedral at Christ Church made the perfect choice for her wedding ceremony. It was their joint love of music that first brought Charles and Juliet together. As well as being a vice-president of the National Convention of the Conservative Party, Charles is a member of the Board of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and sings in the CBSO Chorus with whom he has performed three times at the BBC Proms and in Europe and Asia. Needless to say, music and choral music formed a very important part of the couple's wedding ceremony. The ceremony was followed by a marquee reception in the grounds of the College Master's garden.
